I just recently discovered the Apollo binaries for emacs on prep.ai.mit.edu (pub/gnu/emacs*). Only one problem. They have 9.7 binaries for 68k machines and 10.1 binaries for the PRISM. No 10.1 68k's. The 9.7 and PRISM work quite nicely, but when I compile the 18.5n release I get all manners of nasties (it just outright core-dumps in an apollo window, and under X it's slower than I thought even EMACS could be). Now, what I need to know is: are there 10.1 binaries for the 68k's? If so where? Please reply via e-mail, as I don't get to read news very often. If you are also interested drop me a line and I'll send you the results. BTW an alternative is to find out how to compile this correctly, but I have a suspicion that this requires code that I don't have. -AJS
