Lines: 20 I'd be interested in hearing from anyone who is running NFS2.0 (SR10.1) AND using the DNS for host name lookup. I find that any client trying to mount an Apollo filesystem gets the cold shoulder. A message is put in the nfs log file to the effect that mountd could not verify the client's address. The curious thing is that the message actually says "cilent's address not in /etc/host". Now, /etc/host I suppose it's a typo for /etc/hosts, but the client sure is in /etc/hosts (and in an /etc/host I made just to be safe). I am running the DNS resolver though, and /etc/hosts should not be consulted after boot time. Any ideas ???? -- David Boreham, INMOS Limited | mail(uk): davidb@inmos.co.uk or ukc!inmos!davidb Bristol, England | (us): uunet!inmos-c!davidb +44 454 616616 ex 543 | Internet : @col.hp.com:davidb@inmos-c
