Here's the scenario: At the computer store here at CMU, they have Macs, and that's it as far as Apples go. I went in and asked if they could order System 5.0 (this was about a month ago) for the GS since they obviously didn't have it in stock. They guy said that their contract with Apple was for the Mac only. I was told from other sources that ANY educational institution, be it a university or an elementary school, gets the same discount on everything. Which is true? -Greg T. ======================================================================== * The previous message was brought #ARPANet : gt0t+@andrew.cmu.edu ^ * to you through a grant from CMU #Bitnet:Floyd@Drycas.club.cc.cmu.edu^ * who has graciously taken a hell #Bitnet : y614gt0t@VB.CC.CMU.EDU ^ * of a lot of money from this man. #Can I get one more account??? ^ ========================================================================
