Message-ID: <17537@watdragon.waterloo.edu> Date: 25 Oct 89 14:04:44 GMT Sender: daemon@watdragon.waterloo.edu Distribution: na Lines: 17 I've managed to get a VT100 emulator working with my direct-connect SX212, but a strange thing has happened (as strange things are wont to do). When I first call into my Unix account at the local university, the software displays upper and lower case, but as soon as I've entered my password, all I get is upper case. More precisely, all lower case letters are displayed as upper case letters, and any upper case letters are preceded by a "\". I assume that this is what is being transmitted by the Unix system, because this sort of thing doesn't happen when I call a simple BBS. Does anyone have any ideas? Also, I previously asked if anyone out there is using an 80-column word processor, but I didn't really get much response. Has no-one ever tried the new AtariWriter, or any of the other wp's available? -Roy Wood (rrwood@lotus.waterloo.edu)
