You might try using ASYC-Appletalk to connect an ST to Apple-talk.
This requires a dedicated Mac with modem and an ST with modem
and Spectre.  I believe you can get it from MACSERVE@PUCC
I've never tried it, but I think it should work since it only
uses the modem port to connect the calling machine into apple-talk.
