The drive in question is only used for backup so all files on it are contigious. I can find the subdirectory info useing a disk editor and it looks like it's all there so all I need is to write a program to read a directory entry and write the data to a new file in a different partition. I can write a program to do this but don't feel like reinventing the wheel if I don't have to. Anyone know a PD or for sale program that will do this? Fred Brooks
