I have a 1040 STf from about 2 years ago, when I switch disks it doesn't handle it correctly suppose, my disk has 400k free and I loaded a 40K file into memory from one disk, then put my 400k disk in the drive and saved. The 400K disk now says 360k free, but shows no file!. I talked to another st'er about this told me to check if there was a "c" on the bottom of my computer- there is. He said my problem was that about 2 years ago, Atari put a different drive in the ST's and marked them with a c. This is making my life keck! Is thare anything I can do, shouldn't ateri replace it, and should they charge me? Thanks, zl04+@andrew.cmu.edu
