Lines: 19 I am looking into buying a 386 box that will support DOS, OS/2 and UN*X. I have heard that IBM has AIX for its PS/2 line so the Model 70 - 061 (20 MHz) seems to be a reasonable platform (given the educational discount). I have the following questions though: 1) Does this model have 8 or 16-bit VGA? 2) How much and what type of memory can I plug directly into the mother board? 3) Does this model have a cache unit? 4) Will I be able to get cards that work with the MCA? 5) Is there any reason I shouldn't buy this machine? Please respond directly to me and I will post a summary if anyone is interested. Thank you. Kevin L. Spier spierk@turing.cs.rpi.edu Kevin L. Spier spierk@turing.cs.rpi.edu
