Help, please.   To follow the discussion about RLL, MFM and 1:1
interleave on hard disk drives I need some information to get
"jump started." 

Anybody care to offer a tutorial or a pointer to some (reasonably
accessable) literature?

I'd like to think I'm technically competent to process the details,
this just isn't something I needed to know before now.
