Unfortunately, we don't have a CMI hard disk. We have a CMS hard disk, which would seem to have been made by a completely different company (though knowing the artistic licence people take with their logos, who knows?), and therefore I must once more humbly beseech you folks to help out. Apparently CMS is even more of a 'no-name' than CMI -- does this mean we're sunk as far as getting a controller? The drive is obviously a 'pull' with an unknown number of hours on it. Can't seem to recall whether the drive itself was mal- functioning or if the machine just couldn't use it and whoever it was got a new drive and tossed the CMS. I'll go find out if it turns out to really matter. Will I be better off just getting a HardCard or some such? ======================================================================= Internet:lihan@walt.cc.utexas.edu Disclaimer: My employer doesn't MaBellNet:(512)459-1602 even know UseNet exists, let SlowNet:varies chaotically, alone that I'm on it and ex- e-mail for current value pressing opinions ... +---------------------------------------------------------------------+ (-: a.k.a.
