A local user has partially overwritten a file on disc.  Much of the
text information is still on the disc.  Does anyone know of a program
that would allow me to read the disc sector by sector and give me the
option of copying a sector's information into a file on another drive?
In this fashion, I hope to salvage this person's work.

Any suggestions welcomed (send back-up admonishments to /dev/null :-) ).
