Sorry if this is the inappropriate place to ask, but:

Why is my address being adjusted from parnes@eniac.seas.upenn.edu
to parnes@eniac.seas.upenn.edu.UUCP at some sites (this UUCP will throw
of any attempt to return mail to me).  I certainly don't put it there
myself.  Why is this happening?

Polite suggestions as to where I can post questions like these in the
future will be graciously accepted.

Snide or rude suggestions and remarks ride a express pipe to my kill file...
