This is a super program that does a real good VT100 emulation for our Pyramid UNIX systems. It gives you multiple sessions & windows. It also enables us to do very fast and easy uploads / downloads to and from the Macs. This is done via the FTP capability within NCSA Telnet ... My question is this - I've been using Microphone 1.5 at home to dial-in to various bulletin boards. I also use it to dial into the UNIX system at work. I get reasonable VT100 emulation but have been somewhat dissapointed with the ability of Microphone 1.5 to operate as seamlessly with UNIX as does NCSA Telnet. Short of simple text cut & paste; how do I move files up / down from my Mac at home to UNIX at work ? Microphone 1.5 does not even support Kermit, it only provides Macbinary / Xmodem. Is there another telecomm. program for the MAC that can provide file-transfer between an at home Mac attached to a UNIX system over a 2400 baud dial-up modem ? Please send all replies and suggestions via E-mail direct and I will post to this group if there is enough interest. - Thanks much.
