Dear Netters,

I found an interesting solution to my problem.  I returned to Finder --I was
running under MultiFinder at the time-- wrote my keystrokes and sequences,
returned to MultiFinder, and all was well again.  Kind of hokey, but it worked.

Thanks for taking the time to answer me.  If you start to have problems your-
self, this might solve it.
