I've had my 2400 baud Practical Peripherals modem for 3 years now and I
would second the motion that it is a high quality product at a good price.
It even served as the one-and-only uucp modem for a site for a number of
months -- again, no problems.

Because of its shape [not its speed!], I call it my slug_modem :-)
