I have a question for all you Hypercard gurus. Can you set up a field in Hypercard that does not cause autowrapping. I need a field that either allows text to go past the field length or else it simply beeps when you try to write past the end of a line. Is this possible? Would I have to write a XFNC? ( I have no idea how to write one by the way... so if this is the only way.. then I would really appreciate some code example of an XFNC in LSC pref. and dealing with this sort of problem hopefully 8-) ) Also do any of the newer versions of Hypercard have horizontal scrolling capabilities? ..... or does this not make sense to the feel of a Hypercard application. Thanx in advance for any help Bruce -- Bruce Johnston Dalhousie University Halifax, Nova Scotia, CAnada. Disclaimer: I'm always right... and submarines have screen doors!
