I have a cheap floppy only ibm pc xt (at best). I have an old ethernet card in it and run Karn code . It is hooked to the next via the ethernet and etc etc. I suspect that the ethernet line for the NeXT is a much better way than via the rs232 whose driver is probably less than optimum. All runs well and there is no pain.
