I make one other suggestion. I found my cube to be practically impossible to use when I first unpacked it because it was so slow. I went to 16MB of internal and found a world of difference. My machine loads as fast as the one down the hall with a hard disk and mathematica runs like a dream. So... I think people would be far more impressed with the machine's performance if the minimum configuration was 12MB ram instead of 8. On a related note, I hear its pretty much a settled fact that early in Q2 next year (fingers crossed) EVERYONE will upgrade to the 68040 (50 MHZ!) for some minimal cost. Assuming this is true, what about the 8MB of 80ns ram I bought for my present board? Can I use it in the new board? Bill Smith smithw@mathnx.byu.edu (Its a NeXT) smithw@yvax.byu.edu
