The system has now been checked for 2 weeks and no error has been found. This week the cpu-board will be checked and if the system still does not work properly after that I don't know what to do. The strange thing is that all the demo software is running properly but not QUANTA and INSIGHT both programs produce a tilted molecule. The next problem I have is to use a c-program to read a binary file produced by a fortran program. I have come that far that there is 4 bytes in the beginning of the file and 8 bytes between the records with are not recognised by a fortran program but are recognised by a c-program. Can somebody explain me what I should do to be able to read properly a fortran binary file with the c-function fread().
