Keywords: Hardware Message-ID: <2370@brazos.Rice.edu> Date: 23 Oct 89 19:00:00 GMT Sender: root@rice.edu Organization: Sun-Spots Lines: 14 Approved: Sun-Spots@rice.edu I know the 753/7053 issue has come up before but I can't remember the responses. My question is, will Sun's xy7053 support a 3Mb/s transfer rate, as opposed to the 2.4Mb/s Sun claims for it? Also, is anybody actually using a 7053 at 3Mb/s? Has anybody tried it and failed? The xy753 blurb says it will work with disks of different speed at the same time. Will the 7053? I want to hook a Hitachi DK815-10 (2.4 Mb/s) and a Fujitsu M2382 (3 Mb/s) to the same controller. Please email and I'll summarize. Roland Schneider University of Manitoba
