When I need to enclose something in angle brackets, I usually use \langle and \rangle, instead of simply < and >. Is there anyone out on the netland who knows where I can find similar symbols for squiggle brackets, ie, for \prec and \succ? A more general question is how you can trim a fat symbol in LaTeX? Please email anything related to wei@wucs1.wustl.edu, since I usually do not read this group. Thanks in advance.
