howdy netlander,
	i have hacked up a version of gnuemacs 18.55 that will run under
aix 2.2.1 in the X11 window environ on an rt.  i have not been able to
get a dumped version of xemacs to run however.  for some reason the
dumped version cores.  the undumped version loads up and runs fine.
it is very usable.  please send e-mail if you want details.  if there
is enough interest i will post diffs.
