I have an application which could use the services of MicroSoft
Excel.  I would like to find out the things I need to know for
linking my app via DDE to MicroSoft Excel.  I have the need to
be able to go both ways - to Excel and back to the app.

  If you know the formats and protocols I need or where I can
acquire their specification, please send me mail.

  Who has the best reference material for really using
DDE to its full capabilty?

  I may also have to save my app data in an Excel format.  Where can I
find the specification for the Excel file format?
