'xrn' was not intended to be an X interface for 'rn', it was (and is) an X interface to the NNTP server. The code is all new and many of the features that correspond to 'rn' were added as many of our bilingual users ('xrn' at work, 'rn' at home) demanded more of the 'rn' functionality. Now 'xrn' has KILL files (sort of, better in the next release) and 'rn' keybindings. However, just think of the problems if we had decided to name it 'XNeWS'!
