I'm slogging through the make using gcc 1.36. Since I'm sure
others have gotten through this successfully, could someone
send me a summary of the things to watch out for and/or fix?

I think my only major hurdle left is that rgb dumps core
when it runs. I seem to recall something about dbm not being
right on Suns.
