As long as he's proposing placement in the talk hierarchy, I certainly
see no negatives and some potential positives.

And I concur with the request for minimal flaming.  Several people
got unnecessarily haughty several months ago during the discussion
of soc.personals, and I have a feeling this one will bring out
the same snidery.
