As a "new user" (~1.5 years), I came across a very wierd newsgroup:
alt.slack.  Postings seem to be about a quasi-religious/satirical/illuminati
group called "the cult of the subgenius".  Anybody know anything about
this bizarre notesfile?  Is it a joke?
