This is one of the fixes in my posting <678@wet.UUCP> to this
very same newsgroup, "EPS' changes to rn patchlevel 40 for NeXT
and SunOS" dated 16 Oct 89 00:15:14 GMT.  It shouldn't have
expired yet from most sites.
