Dear Chairman of LYH: 
     I have a suggestion for you.
     Since part of the LYH members are government sponsored scholars,
I think LYH should speak out on their behalf.  As for as I know,
their stipend has not been increased since May 1984. In nearly six years
the cost of living in Toronto has increased substantially, don't mention
the rent,  it is an irresponsible if the consulars do not increase their
stipend for such a long time.    I suggest that LYH should negotiate
this issue immediately with the consulator officers.
     If necessary, I can provide following information:
     1) inflation  rate from 1984 to 1988;
     2) the drop of the purchase power of one dollar during the same
	period of time.

	I wish to know what is the opinion of LYH committee.
