This seemed to be the only vaguely appropriate group for this: (it got 
mentioned here at least once ! :-) )

To Someone at mrcnext.cso.uiuc.edu ( the heir-apparent to the famous uihub):

The 'dir' command in your FTP area don't work ! It just returns a 
'command complete', nuffin else ! (at least 'ls' works - better than just
dark glasses & a white cane: 'mget * and to hell with the expense !' :-) )

BTW, I know about the huge effort you've put into getting uihub back onto
FTP-able terrain, but ...... I still time-out. Last attempt was
at 3pm AEDT (Australian Eastern Daylight-Saving Time = UT + 11hrs) on the
31st of October. (You asked for info..)
