I followed that kind of attitude when I worked for Radio Hack, a long time ago. Yeah, I know I'm supposed to be pushing RS computers, but I always asked the customer exactly what he wanted to do with his computer. If it were only for games, or as a family fun station, I would usually suggest the Atari 800 or C-64. If they wanted a large base of software, I would usually suggest they looked into the Apple II+. Only if they were interested in a business computer and basically a PC clone would I suggest the RS PC clone.
