 Yesterday, I was doing my usual browsing through the amiga software
rack and found Chris Crawford's game BALANCE OF POWER for a mere $9.00
and decided that I couldn't go wrong at that price. To my
disappointment, upon getting home, I did somehow go wrong. 

  Following the bootup sequence as dictated in the documentation, I
get the appropriate icons, and can ultimately get the opening title
screen. After watching the interesting pictures for a while I tried to
click on the "new game" gadget, but could not see the pointer. After
much trial and error (clicking the mouse all over my desktop) I
managed to hit the box and advanced to the copy protection password
screen. Again, trial and error got me into the typing box and entered
the password. Next the OPTIONS screen came up, but even trial and
error does not seem to help in trying to get past this. (The gadgets
at this point are VERY small).

  I have a 2000 with a second 3.5 drive as well as a 2088 Bridgeboard
and its 5.25 drive. Beyond that, the machine is stock (as far as I
know, I bought it second-hand).

  Has anyone else run into a problem like this? Any suggestions as to
how I can get around this problem?
