Requires multisync monitor, eliminates flicker on all interlace modes including HAM. Several software selectable options: -Shrink mode: Lets you take two non-interlace screens and display then on the one interlace screen. -NO interlace: FLick-off normally displays interaced screens. IF the Amiga is in non- interlaced mode, Flickoff will normally double up the scanliines to display a full 400 line display, No-interlace disables this function. Flick-offf plugs into the Denise socked and uses the Amiga D/A converter and video output. It is completely enclosed by the Amiga;s FCC shield. It includes a diagram similar to this: -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Display | Flick - Off | Output | Address | Display | Control | Control | Ram | Registers | | | | | | | | | | --------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | | | | | DENISE | | --------------------------------------------------------------------------- (the diagram here is distorted a bit - it should be about twice as high in proportion to width as it is here). The suggested list on it is $399US, with dealer costs ranging from $299 US for quant 1-4 to $249US for quant 100+. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ralph Doncaster Acadia University, Wolfville, NS Email: 880274d@AcadiaU.CA ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
