Raymond) Organization: NASA Ames Research Center Lines: 19 I'm having a small problem with Niko Mak's SWAP program (version 1.2). The documentation says that it will try EMS, then EXT, and then disk in the absense of any switches. Well if I try to use swap when most of my EMS and EXT is being used, I get an error message of the form: "Could not allocate extended memory." It does not try to use the disk. Of course this can be avoided by always swapping to disk (add -D switch), but this won't take advantage of the EMS when it's free. Any ideas? Is swap archived anywhere? The swap directory on Simtel is for a different type (TSR) of swapping. Also, I have the source to swap 1.0 but not 1.2. I could easily fix the problem if I had the source. -- Eric A.
