Message-ID: <8927@hoptoad.uucp> Date: 6 Nov 89 19:44:02 GMT Organization: Eclectic Software, San Francisco Lines: 17 Is there any interest in organizaing a net purchase of hard disk kits? It seems the price breaks on the components start to be significant around quantity ten or so. I take it the idea is sufficiently obvious that I don't need to explain it in detail here. Everyone would be responsible for their own mailing, and would pay only component and shipping costs. I would volunteer to do it myself, but in all honesty, I'm not a very businesslike or fastidious person, and the enterprise would be likely to fizzle or explode if I undertook it myself. Is anyone else interested in organizing and executing such a thing? My estimate is that everyone involved could get 60 meg SCSI hard disks for three or four hundred dollars. -- Tim Maroney, Mac Software Consultant, sun!hoptoad!tim, tim@toad.com A good flame strengthens its points; it does not stand in lieu of them.
