The version that I have has the following what info in the X executable: . sunCG2C.c 2.8 87/06/05 Copyright 1987 Sun Micro . sunCG3C.c 1.1 11/3/87 Copyright 1987 Sun Micro . sunCG4C.c 1.4 6/1/87 Copyright 1987 Sun Micro . pow.c 1.9 88/02/08 SMI . SVID_libm_err.c 1.7 88/02/08 SMI . _arg_red.c 1.6 88/02/08 SMI . _slow_arg_red.c 1.4 88/04/14 SMI . matherr.c 1.2 88/02/08 SMI . dbm.c 1.11 86/07/16 SMI This is an executable only version - so I dont know what patches have been applied. Sure would be nice if there were some way to find out - is there? Anyways, What I am seeing is that some of the keys on the keyboard do not generate anything at all - a number generate a Null character - and a few generate escape sequences. But even when I give xterm the use Sun Function key flag, I dont get the same sequences as I get on my type 4 under SunView. Nor do I get what the xterm in my /etc/termcap says I should get, etc. What I want to be able to do is to get a set series of values from my function keys. Can someone who has been successful in doing this drop me some email to show me how to do this? Thanks!
