Now that contact is re-established, I will be posting notes about recent book reviews in Nature and Science and about some recent articles. One thing I would like to discuss is the "molecular clock" hypothesis. The more I think about it, and read, for instance, Nei's Molecular Evolutionary Genetics, and the Molecular Clocks issue of the Journal of Molecular Evolution, the less I believe it.
