As of November 1, the EISA NDA has been terminated.  The previous $2500
fee for a copy of the spec, plus updates for a year, plus access to
their bulletin board, has been reduced to $450.  At my prompting, they have
also added an option to get a single copy with no updates and no service
for $125.
