What about Tony Wasserman's DEFINITION and discussion, described in paper(s), about 10 (+/-3) years ago? [I hope I'm crediting the right person here!] As I recall, he described a 5-faceted program of inter-disciplinary studies (or competency) -- one of which was computer science (CS). Others included important "real life" skills for teamwork, administration, planning, and such.
