Are there >printers like this under development? It is a very slow way to go, but QMS UltraScript PC will interpret PostScript files on a PC and generate output to matrix and ink-jet printers. On an Epson with a wide carriage, it will generate output 11 wide by up to 45 inches long, as a single postscript "page". The printer prints until the entire page has been output, then does a form feed and stops. - Geof
