Message-ID: <8911150345.AA03766@crayola.cs.UMD.EDU> Date: 7 Nov 89 20:36:08 GMT Sender: usenet@ucbvax.BERKELEY.EDU Organization: Govt Computing Service Ltd Lines: 26 Approved: laser-lovers@brillig.umd.edu Hi y'all. The setup we have in our office would be perfect for an ethernet printer - if such a beast does exist. We have 3 minis on the same lan that would just looove to use the same printer. We're running TCP/IP and have 1 x HP Laserjet II, and we're looking at buying a Brother HL8 (depending on whether it works with this idea!). So: Has anyone out there found/used/sold a printer/board to run on enet? I assume it would have to be semi-intelligent to recognise station names, addresses etc. Any and all information would be greatly appreciated.
