Message-ID: <391@massey.ac.nz> Date: 14 Nov 89 04:13:51 GMT Reply-To: K.Spagnolo@massey.ac.nz (Ken Spagnolo) Organization: Massey University, Palmerston North, New Zealand Lines: 21 Its too long a story to desrcibe why there is a number in the rule below (actually, its a DECnet number), but I need to rewrite user@6164 to "machine1::user"@machine2. I used the following rule, with the " escaped because sendmail.cf needs them to be. R$+@6164 \"machine1::$1\"@machine2 This gives me "machine1::user "@machine2 ^-- here is the problem I'm using 5.61 with the IDA enhancements. The above is a problem, because the form with the extra space is not in my database, so the users from line doesn't get rewritten. Surely this space shouldn't be there? Does anyone know how I can get rid of it? Thanx for any responses. -- Ken Spagnolo - Systems Programmer, Postmaster, Usenet Administrator, etc. Computer Centre, Massey University, Palmerston North, New Zealand K.Spagnolo@massey.ac.nz Phone: +64-63-69099 x8587 New Zealand = GMT+12
