I would like to connect a MIDI interface to a UNIX machine, and I
know that someone out there has done it for a Sun.

Does anyone have information on existing interfaces, places that
sell them, and so forth?

If it helps, I have a Mac MIDI interface that I'd be willing to
fool around with, though it would be nicer to have one of those
boxes that does timestamping so I don't have to write a UNIX
device driver to do all this.
