i am keeping track of all branches that i see postings from or receive
e-mail from.  i also have access to a set of addresses in regions 7 an 8
that don't necessarily have access to news (many don't).

any ACM branches are welcome!

i am also trying to see how to promote this activity more formally within
the student branch program of the ieee.
