E.g. Anyone know of any structured analysis/structured design techniques (tools or extensions) which are being used/developed to assist/increase the ability to design for parallel execution ?? Anyone know of any tools to perform data dependency analysis (independent of the compiler) so that the developer can utilize this information iteratively to further refine their algorithm/code ?? I'm aware of some of the parallel debuggers which are being used - what else are people using, like to be using ?? Are there any tool development work being done with respect to the connection networks (Omega, Benes, whatever) to assist in the debugging of the interconnection/memory access ?? Thanks to anyone who has some information that they would like to share. I'll be more than happy to provide a summary posting, if I get much response. I'd appreciate E-mail if I could. scott pinkerton spinkert@pikes.Colorado.EDU
