A number of people who have been chiming in on SoftEng lately will get
a kick out of this month's IEEE Spectrum. There's an anecdote about an
aging electrical engineer, a member of a curriculum committee, who had
a choice in his senior year: either differential equations or spark
transmitters. Guess which one he took, and how long the knowledge
served him.
