I have just purchased an ALF system for my A1000. My system is this:
 
 A1000 w 1 Meg (512K by CBM, 512K from the Amazing Computing Hack job)
 1084S
 F-Data 10 External drive
 Epson Spectrum-LX80 printer
 And now the Alf.
 
 My problem is this: I plug in the ALF, I turn on the computer, the screen
stays dark grey. Nothing. The power led is in the DIM position. Any ideas, or
do I have to write back to Pre'Spect Technics?
 
 I've tried unhooking everything but the monitor and the 512K hack (hard to
unhook that without a soldering iron) so I know it's not any of my other
peripherals (periphery?)
