The suggested retail price of the Amiga 2000 has been cut to $1899 from $2195. The price of the Amiga 2500/20 has been cut 15 percent to $3999. Commodore suffered back-to-back losses in its last two quarters as sales of its oldest computer line, the C64/128, slackened. The company plans to introduce a new version of the Amiga 2500 next week at the Comdex show in Las Vegas. ---- So now it looks like the official name for an A2000 + 68020 + HD = A2500/20 and the name for an A2000 + 68030 + HD = A2500/30. -- Joe Smith (408)922-6220 | SMTP: JMS@F74.TYMNET.COM or jms@gemini.tymnet.com McDonnell Douglas FSCO | UUCP: ...!{ames,pyramid}!oliveb!tymix!tardis!jms PO Box 49019, MS-D21 | PDP-10 support: My car's license plate is "POPJ P," San Jose, CA 95161-9019 | narrator.device: "I didn't say that, my Amiga did!"
