Message-ID: <2652@bingvaxu.cc.binghamton.edu> Date: 13 Nov 89 05:04:53 GMT Reply-To: consp11@bingvaxu.cc.binghamton.edu (Optimist Prime) Organization: SUNY Binghamton, NY Lines: 23 If anybody could please help me out, I'd greatly appreciate it. I have a few overscan IFF pictures that I digitized (in grey-scale) with Digi-View in a class lab at school. A friend of mine wants a copy of a few of the pictures we did, but since he has a MiSsing-DOS computer, he can only view GIF pictures. I have the program AmGIF, and I'm running it on a 500 w/1 meg of memory and a single disk drive, but it always fails with an "out of memory" message. I've tried converting from a RAM: to DF0:, from DF0: to RAM:, even from DF0: to DF0: (with all of the disk swapping that involves), and the message is always the same. Bottom line is this: If anybody has an IFF to GIF converter other than AmGIF, PLEASE mail it to me at the first address in my .sig file! Or, I'd appreciate just a pointer to an FTP site where I can find one. This means a lot to the two of us, so please help out if you can.... +-------///--------------------| BRETT KESSLER |--------------------\\\-------+ | /// E-Mail to: consp11@bingvaxu.cc.binghamton.edu \\\ | | /// or try: consp11@bingsuns.pod.binghamton.edu \\\ | | \\\/// and to: consp11@bingvaxa.BITNET \\\/// | | \XX/ or on PeopleLink: B.KESSLER \XX/ | +-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+
