Message-ID: <1989Nov14.143843.14134@rpi.edu> Date: 14 Nov 89 14:38:43 GMT Reply-To: black@rom.ecse.rpi.edu (Jerry Glomph Black) Organization: Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy NY Lines: 5 When I boot my 1MB A500 off the usual WB1.3 floppy, I end up with 900k or so memory available. When I boot up my 46 MB GVP hard drive, another 150k disappears! It is in two partitions, set up for BUFFERS=30, so I might expect to lose 50k, not 150k, by virtue of the drive's existence. What's going on??
